We launched Out Loud Las Vegas Radio in January of 2009 in order to create
more dialogue and discussion about those issues facing the GLBT Community, both locally and abroad. The program is hosted
by Terry Hernandez and co-hosted by Frank Del Toro & Princess Anne, both of whom bring great balance and excitement to
the program.
For those in our community, the results of the past election cycle brought
huge disappointments with the passage of Prop 8 in California and other races around the country where LGBT issues were decided
by the ballot. In the days that followed our last election, protesters rallied to be heard. This was a reasonable
reaction for almost anyone that cared about the issue, but we need to become more proactive if we want to inspire change in
our nation's policies. Out Loud Radio is our attempt to be proactive in bringing about change in public policy;
change in public perception; and in change in our strategy.
We invite you to listen
in live every Saturday from 9:00am until 11:00am PST on KLAV Radio, which is 1230 on your AM Dial or you can listen online
at www.klav1230am.com during our broadcast. Call into the station during our broadcast and share your
questions and comments with us and our guests.
We are always looking for
new ideas and topics for our weekly broadcast. If you have an idea or would be interested in becoming a guest on our show,
please let us know.
PROGRAM CHANGE:
March 7, 2009 - Out Loud Las Vegas will be changing to a one hour format
